Author: Kirsten_Holm Surnames: Hayden Thompson Clements Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.maryland.counties.stmarys/1896.1.1.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I don't know if there's a statute of limitations for answering these long-age questions, but I believe this will belongs to Elizabeth Thompson (1674 or 1685 to 1761), wife of William Hayden (1674-1733); they married in 1705. But I do have a question about this marriage that's confusing me. I'm hoping someone knows the answer. I've seen William Hayden reported to be married to Elizabeth Clements in 1694 and to Elizabeth Thompson in 1705. (I've also seen him reported as married to Anna Snowdon in between in 1700 but I'm discounting that.) Is it possible that the wives are the same person? Elizabeth is Elizabeth Clements Thompson (Hayden)? Even then there are several attributed children that were born before even the 1794 marriage. A number of children are not mentioned in the will because they predeceased her, but there are still several that predated the marriage. If anyone can shed any light on this I'd be very grateful! Thanks. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
