My own line (no Jarboes as far as I know at this point) contains both McFall and Nugent descendants who intermarried in various ways. Specifically, I'm wondering if you happen to know anything about where your Ruth McFall comes from, and exactly which Nugents intermarried into your line. My 4th-great grandfather Henry Nugent was christened 21 Sep 1777 in St. Marys Co., and my 3rd-great grandfather Barnabas McFall b. abt 1795 KY is my brickwall. I've seen one reference -- in an old genealogy newsletter -- that states that my Barnabas McFall and Levi Augustus Nugent (my Henry Nugent's little brother) were cousins, and that's how Barnabas and Levi happened to marry sisters -- Levi introduced his cousin Barnabas to his (Levi's) sister-in-law Rebecca Royse (b. 1796 Nelson Co., KY). However, I can't find any evidence of Barnabas being a blood relative to anyone at all, much less my Nugent line.
