Here is what i have on them: Jarred/Gerald JARBOE (b. c. 1793, hardy co. va. d. 1 Jul 1852 & Elizabeth JEFFERSON (believe jarred's father and mother might have been Benedict Jarboe, b. 1762/67 in MD, m. Drusilla Coomes.) Jarred and Elizabeth had: Benedict JARBOE b. 1816, d. bef 1860 & Ruth McFALL (m. 30 Jul 1838.) (I have seen Ruth's birth as 3 May 1817, poss. Crawford Co.,IN. I have not seen a source for this, though. This same person has their marriage date as 30 Jul 1838 in Crawford Co., IN. Perhaps you could seek out McFalls in Crawford co. IN and find some clues there?) They had: Jarett R. JARBOE b. 18 Dec 1847, d. 15 Aug 1921, Patesville, Hancock Co., KY, & Martha Ellen "Matt" RICE (2nd wife) Who had: Arnold JARBOE, b. 22 Dec 1893, d. 8 Apr 1981, Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, & Julia Elizabeth NUGENT (b. 1 Mar 1887, Hancock Co., KY, d. 12 Feb 1937, Patesville, Hancock Co., KY). Julia Elizabeth Nugent was daughter of James Nugent and Eliza Nichols. James and Eliza are buried in Powers Cemetery in Hancock Co., KY, and the following Nugents are also buried there (in case any ring a bell): Hiram Nugent Amillia Wrailliams Nugent William Franklin (Francis) Nugent Nancy Stephens (wife of William) Jesse M Nugent Sarah Stephens (wife of Jesse) John W. Nugent Elizabeth "Lizzie" Nugent (Her maidan name wife of John W.) Henry Nugent James Lewis Nugent Elizabeht A. Nichols To my husband's grandmother: Virginia Ruth JARBOE (b. 23 Apr 1919, Near Hawesville, Hancock Co., KY) - My husband's grandmother.
