    3. Linda,   I can't positively place your Joseph but I do have Robert Greenwell married to Maria Twyman by 1820 when they had a son James Ignatius who married Juliette Wheeler. The next child I have for them was George Felix Greenwell (b. 1824) who married my GG Aunt Catherine Henrietta Drury in 1846.   Your Joseph would fit into the gap between these two nicely and your bond of Thomas Twyman presupposes some sort of connection with this family. All of these people were in Perry County, Missouri.   Hope this helps,   Don --- On Thu, 1/15/09, Linda Reno <lindareno@comcast.net> wrote: From: Linda Reno <lindareno@comcast.net> Subject: [MDSTMARY] Joseph Greenwell To: MDSTMARY@rootsweb.com Date: Thursday, January 15, 2009, 2:23 PM Hi List, Need your help. 3. At this point, I have only two children for John Kenelm Medcalf and Winifred Payne. Sarah, b. 1782 in St. Mary's County who m. Linda From: <Consettct@aol.com> To: <lindareno@comcast.net> Sent: Monday, November 20, 2006 11:08 AM I just sent some info to Mary Yoder. Some differs from her info and one site had George A. Medcalf b.Pa which is an error. All the sites had John Kenelm MEDCALF dying 1807 while Mary is 1837, same date and place. I didn't see any family names nor Winifred's maiden name. Here is what I sent: I did a Google search and came up with quite a few hits. Here are some highlights. 3. Wait a minute. We can't place Elijah Medcalf born 1801 under Elijah Medcalf and Catherine PARKER because they were not married until 1820 Nelson Co Ky Marriage, Bond & Consent, 1817-1832 Elisha Medcalf & Catherine Bodine (Mrs) Bond: 20 Dec 1820 Robert N Bodine signed bond Catherine, widow of John Bodine So If the Elijah Medcalf who married Mary Matilda Spalding does belong under Elijah MEDCALF Sr. then Elijah Medcalf Sr was likely married Previously if this Elijah Medcalf Jr. who married Mary Matilda Spalding is his son. 3. Mary Yoder, I don't know who all these Charles Medcalf's are you list below. What I do know is the will I posted was that of Charles Medcalf who married Elizabeth JUPIN. Once you add all his children into your data base as I posted a few days ago you will have many of the Medcalf's you can't seem to figure out as to who the parents were, and it won't be a question as to which Charles Medcalf, because the one I'm talking about married Elizabeth JUPIN Eleanor Medcalf who married John SMITH is a daughter of Charles MEDCALF and Elizabeth JUPIN. He verifies that in his will. I posted all of those Children and their marriages of Charles Medcalf and Elizabeth JUPIN just the other day. Use that with his will and you should be able to put together their family. I don't know who the Charles Medcalf of Shelby County, KY is. Charles Medcalf who married Elizabeth JUPIN was in Nelson County, Ky until he died in Spencer County, KY -----Original Message----- From: mdstmary-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:mdstmary-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of mary.yoder@verizon.net Sent: Wednesday, January 14, 2009 6:07 PM To: MDSTMARY@rootsweb.c Subject: Re: [MDSTMARY] Charles Metcalf & Elizabeth Jupin Which Charles Metcalf are you talking about??? 1810 Bardstown, Nelson Co, Ky John K. Mills adm. Estate prob. Marion Co., KY -----Original Message----- From: donald drury <ddrury5840@sbcglobal.net> Sent: Wednesday, January 14, 2009 4:40 PM To: mdstmary-l@rootsweb.com Subject: [MDSTMARY] Sarah Bowles Hi,   Does anyone know who were the parents of the Sarah Bowles who married Cornelius Mills? I have 2 sources saying that it was a John Bowles but one says her mother was Monica Daft and the other says it was Elizabeth Payne.   According to my source she also had a sister Catherine who married Leonard Bevan.   Are any of these correct?   Thanks for any clarification,   Don Drury     ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to MDSTMARY-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. Linda Reno Addition info. Needed. Thanks in advance. Do you have any more records on John Kenelm MEDCALF or his wife Winifred PAYNE. Do you have any children yet for John Kenelm MEDCALF and his wife Winifred PAYNE? Children of IGNATIUS MEDCALF and SARAH FORD are: i. JOHN KENELM4 MEDCALF, b. 1760, St. Mary's Co., MD; d. Aug 1837, Nelson Co., KY; m. WINIFRED PAYNE, Bef. 1782, St. Mary's Co., MD; b. 1763, St. Mary's Co., MD; d. Aft. 1805, Nelson Co., KY. Some people claim that this is his daughter. Sarah Medcalf born 1782 who married Felix Wimsatt 8 Jan 1805 , Nelson, Kentucky is daughter of John Kenelm MEDCALF and his wife Winifred PAYNE Ernie Perry found this: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----- Kentucky vital statistics : record of wills in Bardstown, Nelson County, Kentucky for the period of years 1784 to 1851 inclusive Authors: Bell, Annie W. Witness; James Ball Senior. James Ball Jr. Book H, p.230 But I'm not sure people have the correct George MEDCALF under John Kenelm MEDCALF and his wife Winifred PAYNE. But I also want to Place the John Medcalf born 1793 in Maryland who married Treacy DICKSON as a son of John Kenelm MEDCALF and his wife Winifred PAYNE.
