Yes, I did! That's because I forgot to check my own database. There seems to be no record of the Stephen born to Ignatius after his birth in 1787, nor of the Stephen b. to Nicholas in 1767. One other reason I placed Stephen as son of Bernard was marriage of sister Theresa Mills to John B. Pierceall on 17 Jul 1830. I have Stephen Mills m. 1st to Ann Nancy Raley in 1829 (She stated on marriage bond that she was 28 or 29) and 2nd to Belinda Pierceall Bright ca 1844. She was formerly married to a Valentine Bright. The move to Missouri apparently took place after death of Ann Nancy Raley ca 1837. Supposedly the youngest child Benj. Thomas Mills b. 29 Dec 1836 was left behind to be raised by other relatives (grandparents?) DANG! I can't find my reference notes on this. OOOPS! Yes, I did! That's because I forgot to check my own database. There seems to be no record of the Stephen born to Ignatius after his birth in 1787, nor of the Stephen b. to Nicholas in 1767. Any updates appreciated. I currently have the Stephen born 1804 attributed to Bernard Mills ( Ignatius' brother.) and Catherine (prob Chatham). The other children of this marriage were: James b. ca 1799 Nicholas b. ca 1801 poss Joseph H. b. 6 Jun 1802 STEPHEN b. 23 Feb 1804 Theresa chr. 7 Aug 1810 My reasoning was the gap between birth years and 1810 census of Bernard's household with five males under age of 16. But only a DNA test at this point would be definitive... Records in Wash Co.,KY probably destroyed as they aren't found before 1807. Landed deed for first area church about 1797 was probably a log cabin est. by Rev. Fournier. His death in 1803 naming successor T. Badin who established The Pottinger Creek Church ca 1805. I have a Nancy MOLOHON and Nancy RALEY both born 27 Mar 1787 in SMC, MD and both married to Stephen MILLS. I suspect that MOLOHON might be the maiden name. I say this because she is buried in St. Charles RCC Cemetery in St. Mary, Marion Co., KY. She is buried to the left of my Samuel SIMMS who was married to Mary MOLOHON. My Samuel SIMMS and his wife, along with his sister-in-law and his in-laws all died in about a two week period in 1833. All are buried in a row at St. Charles. Don't know what happened to Stephen MILLS. I have a book on burials in St. Stephen's RCC cemetery at Indian Creek, Monroe Co., MO. It has a Stephen MILLS married to Belinda A. PIERCEALL in 1845. Stephen MILLS, born 23 Apr 1804, KY., death 28 Sep 1885 in Monroe Co., MO. Belinda PIERCEALL MILLS, birth 14 Jun 1813, KY.; death 28 Nov 1887 in Monroe Co., MO. This particular Joseph and his wife Lydia Clements Jarboe was of the first to settle Westport, MO, in 1834. Westport a few years later became Kansas City. The Jarboe's and their allied families were part of the city government of KC up to the Civil War. This particular Joseph and his wife Lydia Clements Jarboe was of the first to settle Westport, MO, in 1834. Westport a few years later became Kansas City. Hello I have come across information that my William H. BRISCOE and his wife Julia were 'of Kent county'. It was suggested by the Kent County group that I try your group as well. This would be prior to 1830 as I have them in the census living in Baltimore William H. death notice mentioned formerly of Kent County in Date: December 14, 1865 Location: Maryland Paper: Sun Article type: Mortuary Notice The 1881 death notice for their grand daughter Mary BRISCOE said that they were formerly of Kent county.(Kent News please copy) I have the marriage of William and Julia 30 September 1823. Julia or Julianna was nee FIELD/ I am looking for suggestions as to where I might find the births of children. The records may be in Baltimore City but I have no idea how to locate these and hope that someone may have this BRISCOE family in theirs. I have Andrew born 1837 ? William Thomas born 1834 George born 1835 and maybe others. What I am trying to prove is that Andrew is the son of William H. Briscoe and Julia A. Can someone offer advise on how to accomplish this??
