Attention, Sarah Cannon Re Mary Brown listed in Sebastian Thompsons will. There could have been a Mary Thompson who also married a Brown, but Appolinia Thompson and Nicholas Brown Sr. had a daughter named Mary Brown. I have seen some old Wills (not releated to this family but any family) that refer to a brother-in-law, just as a "brother" , so perhaps the Mary Brown referred to in Sebastian Thompsons will as "daughter", was actually a "greanddaughter". I would be interested in any other responses to this too. Megan and Wanda. I'd love to exchange data with you the Tucker (my maiden name), Joy, and Wallace families of Maryland and the Davis family from North Carolina! Sounds like it. I do have Wood in my line too, but I'm not researching that line yet! My Joy line is through my Great-grandmother: Effie Elizabeth Joy (married Clyde Wallace) daughter of Thomas Owen Joy and Estelle C. Wood. Are you connected through this line too? My Magill line is Elizabeth D. Magill (married Marcellus Gatton) daughter of Matthew Magill and Jane E. Jones. Matthew was the son of Charles A. Magill and Rebecca Jarboe. Does this ring a bell with you? Katie Magdeline Gatton (married Charles Madison Tucker) was the daughter of Marcellus and Elizabether and my other Great-Grandmother. Redman is via Jennie M. Redman who married William H. Wallace. Their son was Clyde who married Effie Elizabeth Joy. Two of her sisters married two of his brothers - so it was quite the family affair! I'd love to hear if any of this connects with your research!
