Jim, I think I'd call those two places. I've found letters don't always get the desired attention.You might also call JOK Walsh, the president of the Caroline co Historical Society, and see if he has any suggestions. And, if all else fails, get on your pony and ride over to the county road office and/or the QA Historical Society. You might also try the MD Historical Society. I've had a couple of dealings with them, and they seem to be fairly helpful: which is good since I live in PHX, AZ.
