Sorry about the mess in the first message! I forgot to turn off the "stylized" reply function and reply in plain text. Hi Lisa, Thanks for the welcome. We have had a house in Arizona for three years. My wife retired last year and lived in AZ except for the summer. I have been commuting back and forth. Now, I am retiring (age 60) and we are looking forward to enjoying the state all year long (although I will miss Maine and New England a bit). But, the fact that AZ is so much different from Maine makes it easier to leave here (totally new and different environment, a new adventure, etc.) Our house in AZ is in Gold Canyon, about forty minutes east from downtown Phoenix, right at the foot of the Superstition Mountains. We have a land preserve with a lot of Saguaro across the street in front and a beautiful sweeping view of the Superstition Mountains in the back. Our daughter graduated from Arizona State University and stayed. She lives in Tempe. That is how we found our way to Arizona. Thanks again for the welcome. I know we will like Arizona - we already do. Bruce At 09:21 AM 5/10/2003 -0700, you wrote: >Bruce, > >Welcome and I hope you like our fair state of Arizona.
