Bruce, what surnames are you researching? Do you happen to have (someplace) the address of the property that your ancestor sold to John KNOTTS in Centreville? We just started a KNOTTS surname DNA study group. If you happen to know any male KNOTTS' from my area in MD and DE. who are interested in the KNOTTS family history, please ask them to contact me. Bob KNOTTS, researching KNOTTS' in Queen Annes, Caroline, and Kent co MD, and DE. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bruce L. Hi Bob, Nice to hear from you again. I am researching the surnames, Hopper, Emory, Gibson, Rogers, Sweatnam, Wright, Thomas, Hynson, Turbutt, Cox. I probably can find the record (not sure I have the actual name) of the property my gg grandfather sold to John Knotts. However, I have sold my house in Maine. The movers will come on Wednesday to pack up everything and move it to Arizona. All of my genealogical files have been boxed up. I have made copies of everything which I will keep in my office here in Maine since I will be coming back to work here for four months each year. So, things are a bit hectic right now and I don't have access to my paper files. I can try to find the information on my computer files but, considering the move in four days and the fact that I have a ton of final exams to grade before my move to AZ in four days, I am not sure I will have the time to search through all my digital files. On Wednesday, I will be driving to Maryland to spend a week and a half visiting family and then flying to Arizona. I will try to look through my files for the information once I arrive in AZ (About May 25). But, I am beginning to show signs of the "absent minded professor syndrome". So, please remind me in a couple weeks if I have not sent you the information. Are you keeping dry in the wet Northwest? People are questioning my sanity in moving from Maine to Arizona at the beginning of the summer. What can I say? Please send me a reminder once I am re-settled and can sort through my files.
