Dear Queen Anne's Researchers: Les and I would like to pass along to you all that we have completed our third volume of the Queen Anne's Rent Rolls ($18.00 + s & h), Most of the tracts in this volume were surveyed between the years 1681 and 1700. The rent rolls contain the following information: name of tract surveyed, acreage of tract surveyed, rent assessed, date of survey, for whom surveyed and/or assigned, a brief description of where the land was located and also the name/names of those who possessed the land at the time it was entered into the rent roll books. Additionally there were in the rent rolls a facing page which located, conveyances, alienations, re-surveys of the tract and parts of the tract. The information on this page contained, the date of the conveyance/alienation/ etc., to whom the land was conveyed, from whom and the acreage. Additionally where lands were re-surveyed it includes the name of the tract the land was surveyed into or the name the land was changed to.
