    2. This is to certify that it is my last wish and request that Aquilla Greenfield shall take my effects in hand and settle the same for me as he thinks right and proper. Witness my hand and seal this ninth day of November Eighteen Hundred sixty-eight. William (his mark X) Gardner A.W.Bryan Queen Anne's Co. Then came A.W.bryan.The Nov 17th 1868 subscribing witness to the fore going will and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that he did see William Gardner that testator therein named make his mark to the forgoing will. That he heard him publish pronounce and declare the same to be his last will and testament that at the time of his doing he was to the best of his apprehension of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, that he subscribed his name as witness to the said will in the presence of the testator at his request. W.A.Johnson reg of wills (no stamp needed) Queen Anne's Co. then came Aquilla H. Greenfield Nov 17 1868. The exector herein named and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the forgoing is the true and whole last will and testament of William Gardner late of Queen Anne's co.desceased that hath come to his hands or possession and that he doeth not know of any other W.A.Johnson Reg of Wills
