Betty Knotts is thinking of doing a third and final printing of her book-The Knotts Family, probably this summer or next fall. This primarily covers the QA,Caroline,and Kent co MD, and Kent co DE KNOTT(S) and their descendants, including the WV KNOTTS. I wanted to know if I could ask people on the List if they wanted to buy a book. The actual sales will be via personal e-mail or snail-mail. No one will make any money on the books except the printer. It's quite a book. 500 pages, and hardbound. I'm trying to find more information on James KENTON who died before Apr 30, 1793, the date the inventory of his estate was filed. He had a wife Rachel, son James, son William and an unborn child. Thomas KENTON and Solomon KENTON are listed as next of kin. I think he is the father of my ancestor William KENTON who turned up in Logan Co., OH about 1815 married to Sarah COVINGTON, d/o Edward COVINGTON (of Queen Anne's Co.). His mother Rachel was said to have remarried and moved to Clark Co., OH soon after her husband's death in 1793. I'd appreciate any information, especially the identity of the widow Rachel. I just recently received my Vol 3 of "Tombstones of Q.A. Co". I would like to know if anyone has any information on a Frances Araminta, wife of Samuel CHAIRS, d. Mar. 24, 1914 aged 84 yrs. She is buried in the Crumpton Cem. I would like to know Frances' maiden name? Also, does anyone know if the Crumpton United Methodist Church is near the Crumpton Cem? Thank you for your help. Sharon
