Hi, Does any one of a Celeste COURSEY born abt 1848 in their file, and or any information about her parents. She married George PUNEY Jan 2 1868 in Queen Anne's Co..She married 2nd Thomas HARRIS Nov 28 1882 There is a daughter listed Anne V. Harris born Jan 1870, so most likely she was George Puney's daughter but using the Harris surname. Also in the 1910 census Celeste is found to be living in the household of her son -in- law John Hatters and she listed as having 2 children only 1 living. Thanks for any assistance Lynn

Thanks Joe...and Happy Holidays! I would appreciate that as I think there may be some connection to a FOREMAN family and perhaps WILLOUGHBY (About which I know Zilch!). I have found that there was a PERRY FOREMAN living in Queen Anne's Co. who possibly married a SADIE SAVAGE, but the researcher's emaill address is no longer valid. Maybe somebody out there know's of this FOREMAN. I don't know any dates concerning PERRY FOREMAN. Perhaps there is some tie between this FOREMAN and my DAFFIN and/or WILLOUGHBY. (looking for any new "trails" to get over the "Brick Walls"! Perhaps MARY WILLOUGHBY was from Queen Anne's Co. All I know is she married my gggrandfather and I estimate her date of birth from the Census as about 1825. Hello researchers... two questions... QUESTION #1: Is anybody researching the FOREMAN families? I am interested in finding a connection to either the DAFFIN family or the WILLOUGHBY family. In 1847 THOMAS J. DAFFIN m. MARY WILLOUGHBY. They had a son born abt. 1852 and named him PERRY FOREMAN DAFFIN. It appears there were quite a few FOREMAN/FORMAN families in Queen Anne's Co. and it would seem likely there may be some close connection between the families to give Perry the middle name "FOREMAN". Perry was born "near Hillsboro", so states his death certificate. Although that was Caroline Co., it is right at the border of Queen Anne's Co. Does anybody have any marriages or other connections between FOREMAN and WILLOUGHBY, or FOREMAN and DAFFIN? QUESTION #2: In 1800, FRANCIS I. WILLSON married SUSANNA DAFFIN. (I have also seen some records showing the name spelled WILSON and also FRANCIS J. WILSON). FRANCIS I. WILLSON was of Queen Anne's Co and Susanna Daffin of either Caroline or Dorchester Co. I believe they lived in Queen Anne's Co after the marriage and I am interested in finding more about this WILLSON/WILSON family. Lynn, I have noticed references to a Rev. BF Price and also a Benjamin Franklin Price that was married. I wonder if you can give me any more information on these people. At this point any little thing will do, if you know the name of the church or have an address it would be so helpful. I am researching my gg grandparents IDA and Benjamin Price( on their marriage cert. it says from Kent Co. Md) Other relatives have told me they were from Queen Ann Co. They moved to Wilmington,DE sometime after they were married, they had several children including a Benjamin Franklin. IDA's maiden name was Reed. I have seen references to a Rev BF Price here in Wilm also. I really need a new clue!!!!!! Thankyou Sharon in DE.
List Members: I am looking for information about Thomas Gamble Lowman who lived in Queen Anne's County in the early part of the 1800's (d. 1826). He had two daughters, Elizabeth Jane and Milla Minta. Elizabeth Jane married Vincent Lee, and later moved to Kent County. I am specifically for the mother of the two Lowman girls (TGL's will states that they were out of wedlock, although he claims them as his children). I am also looking for the parentage of Vincent Lee (who married Elizabeth Jane in 1844 according to the records in Dover, De). Any help would be appreciated. Keith Keyser kakeyser@aol.com
Good morning List, Would you be a descendant of Harvey N. NICHOLS [1881-1945] from Delaware - Eastern Shore of Maryland area or do you know someone who is? I have important info! :) Happy Holiday's, Helen (DCGS)

What kind of pumps did a pumpmaker make? Seriously. Were these for bailing out boats, irrigation, or what (I live in AZ). I notice several of the grooms on the marriage list were pumpmakers. Thanks, Bob KNOTTS, a MD/DE, IL., Oregon KNOTTS
