Can someone explain just where Georgetown was located during the Colonial period. I thought it was part of presentday DC. Is it still a town or has it gone by the wayside. I have a FHL document(IGI) that references a Georgetown in Cecil Co. Is this possible or is this another of the many mistakes thats been published in their records. Thanks, Hugh
