    2. Hey, we're neighbors, or rather our ancestors were. The tract Marshams Rest was bounded on the north by Exchange, on the east by His Lordship's Favor (which fitted into a bend on the Patuxent R.) and by the Patuxent R.; on the south by Taylorton and Quick Sale; on the west by Newton and a name I can't quite make out, ending con. My ancestors at one time owned Quick Sale and also Archer's Pasture which is diagonally se of Marshams Rest. Marshams Rest was patented Jan 18, 1663, by Richard Marsham. It was then in Calvert Co. I've visited that area and the name Nottingham kind of struck a bell which is why I looked it up. Alice Davis Cates, Vista, CA
