    3. Hello List, I found this interesting info on the Eversfield family of Prince George's Co., MD, and thought I would pass it along. FROM THE PRINCE GEORGE'S LAND RECORDS 1739-1743 Published by T.L.C. Genealogy Page 111. I, John Eversfield, rector of St. Paul's Parish in PG, for the natural love I have,for my son, Edward Eversfield, and also for 5 shillings to me in hand paid by Rich' Clagett Jr, uncle by the mother's side of my sd son, I confirm to my sd son Edward a tract of land called Sewalls Addition, situated in PG, joining to a tract of land called Hackthomeheath belonging to sd Edward, bounded by a parcel of land formerly laid out for Mr. Roger Brooke called Brook Point, a large bounded stone by order of the Commissioners before whom a bounded white oak was proved, thence to a tract of land called Balls Good Luck now the property of Mr. Charles Carroll, thence to a tract of land called Craycrofts Right in the possession of James Bowie, containing about 100 acres. To have and to hold to sd Edward and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten & for default of such issue, the remainder thereof to Jno Eversfield Jr and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten & for default of such issue, the remainder thereof to me, the sd John Eversfield and to the heirs of my body lawfully begotten or to be begotten, and for default of such, the remainder thereof to Moses Eversfield in South Wark in the County of Surrey in the Kingdom of Great Britain & the heirs of his body lawfully begotten or to be begotten, & for default of such issue, the remainder thereof to Henry Everfield of Castle Island in the County of Kerry in the Kingdom of Ireland & the heirs of his body lawfully begotten, and for default of such issue thereof, the remainder thereof unto James Eversfield of Castle Island in the County of Kerry in the Kingdom of Ireland & the heirs of his body lawfully begotten, and for default of such issue thereof, the remainder thereof unto William Eversfield of Castle Island in the County of Kerry in the Kingdom of Ireland & the heirs of his body lawfully begotten, and for default of such issue thereof, the remainder thereof unto George Eversfield of the County of Kent in the Kingdom of Great Britain & the heirs of his body lawfully begotten or to be begotten, and for default of such issue, the remainder thereof unto Stephen Eversfield of the City of London in the Kingdom of Great Britain & the heirs of his body lawfully begotten or to be begotten, and for default of such issue, the remainder thereof unto Charles Eversfield of the Manour of den in the County of Sussex in the Kingdom of Great Britain, Esq, & the heirs of his body lawfully begotten or to be begotten, and for default of such issue, the remainder thereof unto Charles Eversfield Jr of the County of Sussex in the Kingdom of Great Britain, Esq and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten or to be begotten, and for default of such issue, the remainder thereof unto Thomas Eversfield of the County of Sussex and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten or to be begotten. And for as much as James & William Eversfield of Castle Island, George Eversfield of the County of Kent, Stephen Eversfield of the City of London, Charles Eversfield Jr, Esq, & Thomas Eversfield, Esq of the County of Sussex in the Kingdom of Great Britain, were omitted in a deed of entail of a certain tract of land called Eversfield's Map of Italy to John Eversfield Jr & others, dated Aug 28, 1734, and also in another deed of entail of two tracts of land called Hackthomeheath & Drury Lane to Edward Eversfield Jr & others dated Jun 30, 1737, both of them recorded in PG, now know that 1, John Eversfield, for divers good causes, particularly consanguinary affection, I hereby grant to James Eversfield, William Eversfield, George Eversfield, Stephen Eversfield, Charles Eversfield Jr, & Thomas Eversfield of the respective places afd & to the heirs of their respective bodies lawfully begotten or to be begotten, all my right in remainder, according to the order they are placed in above, to sd lands called Eversfields Map of Italy, Hackthomeheath, & Drury Lane, upon failure of John Eversfield, Edward Eversficid, & the other persons in remainder & the heirs of their respective bodies lawfully begotten or to be begotten, in as ample a manner as if they were severally inserted in the two deeds of entail afd. Signed Nov 28, 1739 - John Eversfield. Wit - Tho Owen*, Thos Cresap*. This deed was acknowledged by the Revd John Eversfield & Eleanor, his wife. Nov 28, 1739. Received of Richard Clagett Jr in behalf of Edward Eversfield, the consideration money. Wit - A Contee, Thos Brooke Jr. Recorded Nov 28, 1739.
