The MUDD arrival is a big issue. The A&D was 1634; some say a MUDD was on the ship, but Thomas Mudd the progenitor apparently arrived in MD from Virginia around 1676 or thereabouts. A Thomas Mudd prior to that time was in the West Indies, particularly Barbados and Antigua. Is this the same Thomas Mudd? It could be. Other MUDDs were in the West Indies as well.
