    2. In the book Holy Trinity - Collington her People and their Church there is a time line. Two entries are: 1692 - The 10 counties of Maryland divided into 31 Parishes. At that time this section was included in St. Pauls-Baden Parish. Around this date a building was erected 5 miles north of Marlborough as a Chapel of Ease - this was the site of the present St. Barnabas. 1704 - St. Pauls-Baden Parish divided creating Queen Anne Parish - this was in the 2nd year of the reign of Queen Anne of England My son attends Queen Anne School at St. Barnabas Church which is the location 5 miles north of what is now Upper Marlboro.
