I have been trying to trace my WHITTINGTON family through Anne Arundel County without a whole lot of luck. I'm looking for George Franklin WHITTINGTON, Sr. married to Elizabeth TURNER. They had one son that I know about, George Franklin WHITTINGTON, Jr b 1843 who in 1869 married Sarah Jane CHANEY b 1851 . She was the daughter of John CHANEY and Belinda CARR who married in Prince Georges County in 1840. I know there are WHITTINGTON from Calvert County and quite possibly the family I'm researching originated there also. Can anyone connect to any of this? I'm stumped.....
