    3. Folks, For the sake of maintaining a friendly atmosphere that will allow a free exchange of information on this list, I respectfully request that if you have a comment to make to an individual which is critical in nature that you not post it to the list. Either send your message directly to the individual or, better yet, contact me so that I can handle the issue. My email address appears in the footer every message posted to the list, so it is always accessible. If you see a request for information that doesn't contain enough data for you to do a reasonable search, before taking the time to find, copy and send the information you have, ask for more details from the person making the request. If all you have is a surname, ask for given names and at least approximate date ranges, before doing any lookups. As usual, I ask that you not take this discussion any further on the list. If you have any questions or comments, please contact me off the list. 3. Dear Ms. Tasker, Which Taskers are you specifically interested in? A month or so ago I responded to your last request about Taskers with information from Mrs. Bowie's book "Across the Year in Prince George's County." You replied that those were NOT the Taskers you were researching. It would be helpful if you could tell us a little bit more about the Tasker family branch you are researching so we do not spin our wheels on your behalf. 1. Re: location of Queen Anne's Parish
    2. In the book Holy Trinity - Collington her People and their Church there is a time line. Two entries are: 1692 - The 10 counties of Maryland divided into 31 Parishes. At that time this section was included in St. Pauls-Baden Parish. Around this date a building was erected 5 miles north of Marlborough as a Chapel of Ease - this was the site of the present St. Barnabas. 1704 - St. Pauls-Baden Parish divided creating Queen Anne Parish - this was in the 2nd year of the reign of Queen Anne of England My son attends Queen Anne School at St. Barnabas Church which is the location 5 miles north of what is now Upper Marlboro.
