That sounds good, but I don't think it is correct, simply because of the difference in ages. This William was born in 1846, or thereabouts. I found William in the home of John and Eleanor Payne in 1850 census. I was hoping that I could find a link between John and Benjamin, but on further looking at census information, there has turned out to be 2 Benj. Payne....
