Does anyone have information on a Thomas Hall listed in the Cincinnati Ohio directory of 1836 as a Grocer? I am trying to determine if he was from Maryland and could be related to my James Hall from Maryland who appeared in Cincinnati about the same time. My James Hall married Matilda Secrist in 1834. Her father was a Grocer so I am thinking there could be a connection since Thomas and James lived near each other and it is possible James met his wife through Thomas. James had 2 children in Cincinnati, Henderson and Sally. About 1840 they moved to Bracken county Kentucky had several more children, Theresa,Amanda, Catherine, John and Joseph. (possibly others not yet accounted for)About 1860 they moved to Livingston county Ky and that is where most of the children were married. Many got the license in Pope County Illinois.
