I'm new to this list and I am attempting to trace the arrival of a Michael GRIGG to either Maryland or Virginia around 1660s. The name Michael is not common in England at this time and almost all references found in the seventeenth century are linked to one family from London and Bedforshire. I have noticed in various lists that a Michael GRIGG did travel to Maryland, at what date I'm not sure. There is a reference to him in a set of CDs, "Colonial Families of Maryland", CDs 184 and 189. From Australia it is almost impossible to access these, could I ask someone who may have ready access to them to check out these references and advise when Michael is recorded as going to Maryland and any other information which might be available.
