Oleans District CEMETERIES. I have made a CD of the results of work I have completed myself from visiting the local cemeteries where I live. The CDs are then made on my computer. The area for this CD comprises the Orleans District of Allegany County, Maryland. I have taken large photographs of every stone in each cemetery, included obituaries and some census information, and incorporated all of it into a Web based format. I have it on my Web site and you can take a look and see what you think. There are a couple small photos of two of the stones at the bottom of the page to show how they look. Although these are quite small, they are still readable. www.dustisden.com/kin2kin/cdsales/maryland_genealogy_orleans.html I have already started another one for the Flintstone District and plan to make several from Allegany and Washington counties in Maryland; Fulton, Franklin, and Bedford counties in Pennsylvania; and also from Morgan, Hampshire and other areas surrounding my location. As a partial explanation, my children and a sister all married local people and I began doing genealogy research in seeing how they were all related. I now have a database of more than 120,000 people between my LYNCH and LEWELLINGs in Tennessee and the extended or collateral families of their spouses in this area.
