Dear Ellen, I would be very pleased to have anything you could send me. My problem is that my James Hall B.182 in Maryland has become a very solid brick wall. With so many James and Halls I haven't been able to trace him back. No Marriage records exist and I have not been able to locate anything pointing to his parents but members of this Hall family; James and Harrison mostly keep popping up in the same areas at the same time as my James so I have resorted to looking for a connection thinking perhaps "MY" James is a nephew or son of a member of this family. I have just started digging into this so anything you can supply would be helpful and I am going to try and find the books you mentioned as well as a few others written by members of this literary family.
