Looking for any information about Buckingham School and the boys who attended there. Buckingham School was a privately run orphanage that was in Buckeystown Md. There were 291 boys that attended the school between 1898 and 1944. Many were from the Frederick and Baltimore areas. I know who all that attended but will welcome any information that anyone has and I can provide information also. I can be e-mailed privately at [email protected] Also interested in the Baltimore Manual Labor School in Arbutus, MD now the site of UMBC. Thanks Gil House
Gil: I believe there is a Buckingham School that is still in existence. I don't know the address, nor what their role is, but I came across something that had "Buckingham School of Frederick County" recently. I'll see what I can dig up at work next Tuesday and let you know then. Donna Gil House wrote: > Looking for any information about Buckingham School and the boys who > attended there.
