Hi Elizabeth, My gggg grandfather's wife Sarah Offutt (d/o Nathniel Offutt and Sarah Magruder) was from Upper Marlboro, MD. As for the name Mattingly, I think that I have seen that name married into the Clarke / Clark line but not sure. When you mention the area's in Md., I really have no idea where this are as I live in Nevada. I was born and raised here. I should get an old map of Md. I suppose. I'm sure this would be of help!
