Hello everyone , if anyone on the list tried to contact me within the last month , my computer crashed and i changed my eamil . i noticed there wasn't much activity on the list , so now it is a good time to have a roll call I thought to start the New Year off we should do a roll call .. For anybody that is new to the list and don't know what a roll call is this is a place where you can post your surnames so other list members might be researching the same surnames Guidelines for the Roll Call are as follows : 1 - When posting in the subject line please include yr if known and County and surname . Always change the subject line . 2- make sure you are sending your post to the list and not to me . 3- you can use your brickwalls . but please state that is your brickwalls . Hi everyone - I am researching the following in the Allegany & Garrett County areas: Justus Grabenstein (also spelled Grebenstein & Graebenstein) & his brother Julius - not to be confused with his son Julius. Julius the elder is my brick wall - I believe he & his family moved to the Johnstown, PA area in the 1880s, but have lost them.
