Thank you for the info.....until very recently I only had information on the BUCY family back to my greatgreatgrandfather, George W. Bucy. I'm still sorting out where he fits in the BUCY family as printed out by you. Do you have a link to him? He was born in 1830 in North Carolina, married MARY JANE TUCKER, b. 1834 in North Carolina. Sometime before 1862, they moved to Kentucky where my greatgrandmother, Louisa Amanda Bucy, was born in Calloway County. The family story is that she was born during the battle of Fort Donelson while bullets were hitting the house and that, at the end of the battle, they couldn't even remember which day she was born on.
