Hi....I can't read all your names in the subject line. Don't want to miss anybody! Pat
Hi - You wrote that you can't read the whole subject line - there is a feature that will show it to you, and let you read the mail without opening the letter. The way my e-mail program works is I can set it for a "preview pane" - what that means, is it has an open window at the bottom where I can read the message once it is selected. There are 2 ways to set this that I know of. One is that at the bottom of the screen that shows your "In" box, you may see a bar with a small up arrow (triangle). Click and hold your right mouse button on the arrow, and drag up up the page. A new window opens which shows the text of the current message in the "In" folder. It sure saves a lot of time opening and closing each message. The other way is to set it from the tools or preferences menu. I use Incredimail, but I can also do this in Outlook. Incredimail has a free download at http://www.incredimail.com Bon -------Original Message------- From: MDGEN-L@rootsweb.com Date: Monday, February 24, 2003 20:52:11 To: MDGEN-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MDGEN] BROOKE, CARROLL, HILL, ARNOLD, FERGUSON, EARLY, PADGETT mainly PG Co. 1600s to 1800s Hi....I can't read all your names in the subject line.
