    3. I did know that my William Pollitt was born in Somerset Co., but moved to Baltimore area when he married Emelia Warden. But, I didn't know that DeShiels and Cullen families were from the Eastern Shore... Thanks! That gives me some avenues to explore.. 3. Barb, DeSheils will also and more often spelled Dashiell and variants. Depending on the time frame use Wicomico first and then Somerset. There has been a good bit of research and publication on the Dashiells and a good bit of work on the Pollitts. Fet on the LOWERDELMARVAroots-L@rootsweb.com or get back to me when I can give you some sources. 3. Dottie, I know that there are several spellings of the name, and to tell you the truth, I have not done much research at all on this name, as it is likely that it possibly is the birth family...and I didn't know if I would find anything that I could trace to my ancestors...but, I will check out this site that you suggested! Thanks!
