Where would the search begin for Baptismal records if you think you know the Church. I think my people were baptized at St. Pauls 5th Reformed German Church and I am anxious to try and get my hands on as many of the baptismal records as possible. I couldn't find birth records the last two times I was at Md. State Archives and I don't know if that's because the city wasn't keeping records from 1880 through about 1901, or my eyes are just getting too old to catch the spelling variations that could and do occur.
