Alan, I know there are many more freedom loving people like you out there; but I appreciate your words. So often we don't take the time to put into words how we feel. A terrible atrocity has been committed against this nation, but I believe this has had just the opposite effect on the American people other than what the terrorists hoped for. Our nation has always performed the best in the face of adversity. We will survive and be the stronger for it. We are a nation made of many ethnic groups including Muslims. These differences have made us the nation we are today. Through my genealogical research, have found many of those groups among my own heritage and am above all proud to be an American. Thank you again for your words of comfort. Please don't anyone forget to remember those individuals on United flight 93, who somehow prevented that plane from reaching it destination; but rather plowed that plane into the ground in Pennsylvania (40 miles from where I live).
