    3. Hi Jan and the list Would you/or any on this list by chance know where I may be able to locate any thing on the earliest settlers of Chestertown MD? I received some information while I was away and learned the Charles CAVILEER family 1749-1816 was one of the earliest known familys who settled in that part. I am not finding much on him, According to a partial gen. written by his grandson this Charles was a Sailor/Captain of a ship Baltimore (Wat), in which it traveled from Baltimore to New Orleans. I have been unable to find anything concerning a ship by this name. I was also wondering in an earlier census Either Queen Anns or Kent County (I don't have it avail. off hand), It but mentioned "Oathe of Fidelity" and the year was later 1700's. I am trying to figure out if there may be the possibility that this CAVALIER could have been our first Direct CAVALIER into America. Help please? May God Bless all!
