1. [MDGEN] The Kelly(Kelley) family/MD
2. Joe & Stephanie Grohol
3. Hi... I posted about two of William H. Kelley(Kelly)'s children: Charles and Samuel...I discovered more children...one is George Kelley or Kelly....and two others that were just mentioned as two other survivors in William's obit.... I am looking for whatever information there is concerning his sons....His other two children would have been Ann and Edward Lamar Kelley (Kelly). If anyone can do lookups in the census, I would appreciate it...they all should be in the Washington County, MD area.....I have discovered that William and some of his family have lived in the Clear Spring, MD area.....William died in 1901...he was married several times...his last wife was Margaret Mallot or Malott....any info on her is appreciated too... Any help is appreciated.... Stephanie Grohol

1. [MDGEN] 1930 census lookup/Victor Kline/Cline and family/MD
2. Joe & Stephanie Grohol
3. Hi... I wanted to thank everyone on the lists for helping me look for Victor Kline/Cline in the 1910 and 1920 census....now I have another lookup request......if someone would be so kind as to do a lookup in the 1930 census??? I have looked for him in the 1930 but as I have discovered in previous experience with Ancestry.com....it is a possibility that the census info may or may not be missing like it was in the 1910 census.....two people found him for me by going through HeritageQuest...so I thank them profusely!!! SO if someone could do a lookup? I am looking for Victor Kline/Cline he was born Apr 1863 so he should be about 67 or so....he should still be living in Washington County, MD....the last few census has indicated Cavetown......E. District 7....I do know his children: Marshall and his stepson Walter McPherson are not living with him...they have married and moved away...still in Cavetown or Hagerstown area.....I would also like to know about his son Silas Ray Kline/Cline....In 1920 census..Silas was under Ray...and also he was born Mar 1900....so in 1930 he should be about 29 in the 1930 census....he could be under Silas or Ray... I do know in Victor's obit, he is listed as one of the survivors..and he died in 1940....but Silas Ray is not listed in his brothers obit....and Marshall died in 1969. So if anyone can help me in locating Silas, would be a great help. Also looking for any reference to Ada Jane Kline/Cline(Aug 1868)....She wasn't listed in Victor's obit so I am assuming she died before 1940.... There is also a possibilty that Victor could be under CLINE....like he was in the 1920 census....oh by the way..in the 1920 census....he was under Cline...but the census takers had his name as Vicki....anyway!!!! Any help is appreciated..... Stephanie Grohol

3. You can contact the Moravian Archives in Bethlehem, PA. They probably will have that information. There were two Moravian churches in Frederick County. I know the one at Graceham, MD is still alive and doing very well. I got "Moravian Families of Graceham, MD, 1750-1871" for Christmas and will do lookups. As soon as I get my computer fixed, I will post my lookup offer. Good luck with your search. 3. A friend recently sent me a web address at the Maryland State Archives, where they now have some searchable Baltimore City Directories posted on-line. I am pretty sure many of these have only recently been added. They now have a number of them from 1827-1853, plus Coleman "Colored" Directories from 1913-1946. These are searchable transcriptions of every page, so you can look for names, a list of churches, a list of shoe makers, or whatever. City Directories started with historical sketches of the city. They have those and even advertisements transcribed too. Directories also usually had a map, which may be available if you can get the images. They have a link to view the actual image of each page, which you should try. It did not work on my computer. 2. I'd like to invite you all to visit several new hosted chatrooms on the internet... available to everyone and they are FREE!!! You will have to register, however. There are also some great message boards at the site, and you'll have to register separately for them as the message boards and chats are two different programs. One of the registrations asks for you birthdate.. but you can "fudge" on that one << wink>> The site????? http://www.bhocutt.com and then just click on the link to get to the message boards and the chat rooms. Currently there are three scheduled chats, but check in anyway and see if there's anyone hanging around. Jayne McCormick mdelpa@aol.com aka bitsobluengray@aol.com bitsofblueandgray.com
