    2. Michael Mullikin
    3. I am sending this to several lists I am on. I am researching the Mullikin Family of Maryland. On several websites I have seen cited a book entitled Mullikins of Maryland by Elizabeth Hopkins Baker. It was first published about 1934 and may have been reprinted in 1971. If anyone knows of somewhere I could get a copy of this I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your help. Monica Mullikin

I have "Early Settlers of Maryland" by Gust Skordas. The time frame for this book is 1633-1680, and there is no John T. Hanzsche, as I have checked this one before for you. Interesting that I did find a Randall Barbar who was transported to Maryland in 1663. This could possibly be the beginning of your BARBARA family in America. There are several BARBAR families listed, and a Susanna BARBARY who was the widow of Thomas of Calvert County. Hope this is helpful to you. Sue

    1. [MDGEN] Missing child
    2. Peter B McCue
    3. I am seeking a child born to CLARA GUSBERG (probably O.W.) sometime in the few years prior to 1919 when she had another child. The first child could have been born in any one of the following states: New York; New Jersey (where Clara was born); Delaware (where she lived in 1918 with her first husband, Sam E. Cole); Connecticut (where she also lived and her 2nd child was born); or Rhode Island where her 2nd husband came from and where she spent some time in the early 1900s. The 1st child was probably placed in adoption so I can't get any data. If you are this person or know who is please contact me privately with any information. Thank you. peter19252000@juno.com Jan. 17, 2003

    1. [MDGEN] Immigration and Naturalization
    2. One of my immigrant Graham ancestors filed a Declaration on Intention to become a citizen of the United States in 1842. Did an immigrant fill-out any type of form or questionnaire at the time he took an oath declaring his intention to become a citizen? If so, what information would the immigrant have provided? Any information and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Jerry
