    2. Dottie Austin
    3. Hi, I'll try a wild chance. My John AUSTIN, b. 1789 named his firstborn son William Glover. The William could have been for his father or grandfather but the GLOVER seems to be out of the blue. John was a doctor born in Somerset Co. Lived there untill he remarried in the 1830s. I do not know the name of his first wife, where she was from or when she died. She and John had at least six children. When he remarried he sold out his practice in Quantico, MD and moved to Georgetown, DC. He may have attended medical school in either DC or Baltimore. Possibly Philadelphia. Any GLOVER connections? I don't know the address, nor what their role is, but I came across something that had "Buckingham School of Frederick County" recently. I'll see what I can dig up at work next Tuesday and let you know then. Donna Gil House wrote: > Looking for any information about Buckingham School and the boys who > attended there. 1. [MDGEN] Roll Call Calvert Co. Aft 1663 DALRYMPLE-STERLING-BRASHEAR etc
    2. Alison Wallner
    3. BIG BRICKWALL!!!!! All in Calvert Co. After 1663 Thomas STERLING was transported 1663 by Benois BRASSUER and settled in the extreme upper part of Calvert Co ca 1663. He married (1) Mary BRASSEUR, widow of Benois BRASSEUR (2) Christian DORRUMPLE (Christian m. John SCOTT after STERLING's death ca 1685). Christian DORRUMPLE (DALRYMPLE) is either the daughter or sister of William 1 DALRYMPLE. She supposedly had two children by Thomas STERLING, Elizabeth and Thomas. Conflicting data indicates that: Either Christian's brother or father, William DALRYMPLE, married Elizabeth STERLING - who would be Christian's daughter by Thomas STERLING? Various other references indicate that Christian's father was James DALRYMPLE, her brother was William, and one - or both of them (depending on the source!) - married a daughter of Thomas STERLING. FLETCHER I am trying to find a father/family for my John Fletcher, probably born around 1760, later shows up in Washington County, PA, married with sons. He was probably born in MD and migrated with his family (father possibly Thomas Fletcher?) to PA once treaty lands were available. Susan
