This morning, in Olde Towne/Winchester, VA , we have 5-6 inches of snow..on this first wave - and it's beautiful..a great stay-at-home day. (of course..a nice walk later on) No need to get to work...like before in Arlington/Alexandria! As a 6 year old-living in Oakland...it was great sledding down Sixth St. where we lived on the corner of Sixth & the cemetery. As an early first-born in the family/Garrett Co./on Feb 7th-my father rushed to get help from our closest neighbor -Lucille & Johnny Wilson - nothing like breaking up a grey & snowy winter day in February.
