(I sent this information to MDALLEGA list but perhaps some of you do not subscribe to that. I have been to Shaffer Cemetery. Friends of ours live near the Oakland town limits on Herrington Manor Road (W. Liberty Street) near Leighton Drive. We walked up the hill behind their house (west) a half mile or less to Shaffer Cemetery. Several stones existed with only three initials on them. The placements looked as if some could have been children. I didn't see any initials that looked familiar and didn't take notes.
