Piedmont Herald, Wednesday, Aug., 20,1969 Lester Vance Warnick, Hilltop, Westernport, died this morning at Pulliam Nursing Home, Keyser, where he had been a patient for one week. A native of New Germany, Md., he was a son of the late George Warnick and Alice Layton Warnick. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Full Gospel Church, Savage River. Surviving are three sons, Lester, Everett, Pa.; Lonnie, Westernport, and Grant, of Germany, one daughter, Mrs. Osborne Wilson, Westernport. He is also survived by three brothers, Richard, Barberton, Ohio; Stanley, Barton, and Clarence, New Germany; five sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Broadwater, Barton, Mrs. Janet Wilt, Westernport, Mrs. Milton Raley, Frostburg, Mrs. Harry Comer, Barton, and Mrs. Blanche Pritts, Westernport, twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends and relatives will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, tomorrow, Thursday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
