Edward's son Edward Palmer Wolford was married to my first cousin once removed Patricia Ann Bosley, daughter of Carl and Winnie (Butler) Bosley. Piedmont Herald, Dec. 23, 1965 Services for Edward H. Wolford, 71, of 11 East Hampshire Street, who died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Chaney, Silver Spring, Md., were held yesterday morning at the Fredlock Funeral Home. Rev. Raymond W. Gau, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiated. Interment was in Philos Cemetery, Westernport. Serving as active and honorary pallbearers were H. Glenn Boyd, Charles B. Hardegan, Jr., Ernest Hitt, Elmer J. Shaver, Ralph Biggs, William Stump, Henry C. Johnson, Eugene Paxton, C. Randall Smith, Floyd Davis and Richard Grove. Mr. Wolford had been staying in Silver Spring because of the illness of his wife, Mrs. Bernice (Palmer) Wolford, who is a patient in Loretta Haines' Nursing Home, Washington. A son of the late Henry M. and Rhoda (Albright) Wolford, he was a native of Westernport and a graduate of Westernport High School class of 1912. He was a retired employee of the W Va. Pulp and Paper Company and before going to the Luke Mill, he was an employee of Wm. T. Sigler Planing Mill. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the Kelly-Mansfield Post 52, American Legion and a member and elder of the Piedmont Presbyterian Church. Besides his wife and daughter, he leaves one son, Edward Palmer Wolford, Hyattsville, Md.; a brother, Raymond Wolford, of Keyser, and three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Keys, Keyser; Mrs. Lacy M. Mann, Thomas, and Mrs. Mary Talbott, Newport News, Va., and two grandchildren.
