    3. By chance, would anyone know of any history written about Keyser's ridge? "Garrett County, A History of Maryland's Tableland by Stephen Schlosnagle and The Garrett County Bicentennial Committee" mentions on page 51: Squatters living near the mouth of Savage River in 1787 included Charles QUEEN, Patrick BURNS, Charles BOYLES, Joseph DAVIS, George FAZENBAKER, Moses TICHENAL, Johanes and Michael PAUGH, Henry KITE, Joseph WARNICK, John RYAN, James DENNISON, and John STREET. . . . . . Squatters along ***Braddock Road*** at the time of the military surveys included Benjamin CODDINGTON, Peter CRAWL, *****John KISER***** (from whom Keyser's Ridge takes its name) John SIMKINS, John JONAS, Matthias BARNSTREDDER, Jacob STROM, James MCPIPE, Joseph MOUNTAIN and Jesse TOMLINSON I have now found information that a John Kiser (originally from Hagerstown, (m. Susan Ieis), in 1793 located on a farm, now known as the Kiser farm, near Latrobe, Westmoreland County, (PA) All of this somehow seems connected to my mother's family and the Kiser farm was where she grew up, the family sold the farm in about 1935. Any help at all would be appreciated. Pat-T
