Piedmont Herald, Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1969 Services for Arthur Ours, 55, of 406 Kirn Street, Akron, Ohio, who died Friday at Holy Family Home, Parma, Ohio, were held Monday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Swanton. Rev. Edgar Cole, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. A former resident of Mt. Zion, Mr. Ours was born in Moorefield, a son of the late Amby and Julia (Jenkins) Ours. Mr. Ours was an employee of Superior Tool and Dye Works, Akron, and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mildred (Harvey) Ours; a son, Arthur D. Ours, Akron; a daughter, Miss Shelia Ours, at home; three brothers, Paul Ours, Greensburg, Ohio; James Ours, Cleveland, and Merle Ours, Buckhannon, W. Va.; five sisters, Mrs. Helen Southerly, Mrs. Mabel Evans, Mrs. Katherine Simmons, Moorefield, Mrs. Sally Whetzel, Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Gladys Parrish, Keyser.
