Obit of Charles Henry Haskell from The Republican, Thursday, October 21, 1943 Charles Henry Haskell Charles Henry Haskell, aged 79, died at his home at Sunnyside yesterday afternoon, October 20. He had been troubled with a heart ailment for a number of years. He was born, April 29, 1864, a son of the late Henry and Lizzie Haskell. Surviving are his wife, Letitia Haskell, two daughters, Mrs. Carrie Paugh, Mt. Lake Park; Mrs. Gertrude Ridgeley, Fairmont, W. Va.; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Hill, Tunnelton, W. Va.; Mrs. Rose Skally, of Maryland; one brother, Hiram Haskell, Luke. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the Deep Creek Baptist church with Rev. C. W. Fraker, of McHenry, officiating, assisted by Rev. Taylor, of Swallow Falls. Interment will be in the Thayerville cemetery.
