The Garrett Journal, Apr. 16, 1903. Last Friday afternoon April 10th, Mr. I. W. LANSDALE, of Swanton (condensed version -- struck and killed by a train). He is survived by one son and three daughters. Funeral services conducted at St. Matthews Episcopal church, Oakland, Maryland. NOTE, p.a.t.---Interment information was not given, other then to say he was buried beside his wife who had died only weeks before.
