I share an opinion here with Art. I like stories -- to me that is what my family history is about. It's nice to know where people were born, where they lived, when they died, where they are buried. But it's even more interesting to know how they lived, what they did when and if they had spare time. I've been trying to write down the things my parents remember of their childhood and relatives. I hope to some day put it all on CD so my nieces and nephews know what their grandparents and great-grandparents were like.
