    3. I too wonder how long CD's will be around. Remember when we had the 5 1/4 inch floppies? Now they are obsolete. I have put a lot of pictures on CD's, but also have the originals. Am also printing out others from the ones I have saved on my computer. I like the convenience of the CDs but am not sure of the permanence.     3. CDs should be around another 10yr....floppy drives are still in pcs ... but my floppy drive never gets used. You can always copy CDs to DVDs in future years. Many DVD drives read CDs. What I am concerned about is printing photos with ink jet. I don't expect these photos to be of very good quality in 10yr.
