Hi Mary Ann, I believe the town of Bittinger was in District 12 in 1870, but I would also take a look at District 13 for any Noltes. This "Kate" was actually David's sister Catherine who married Anthony Andrew Gottsacker/Gottsucker on Apr.02.1873 at St Lukes Parish, Queen Annes Co., Maryland.
