Hello everyone: This family lived in Bedford Co and Somerset Co, PA, some moved to Garrett Co, MD and back to Somerset Co, PA. I am requesting assistance or any available information regarding the following family: Harry W. RHOADS, (Rhoades, Rhoads, Rhodes, Roade, Roads), b. 10 Apr 1897, Brothersvalley, Somerset Co, PA - parents...Elmer E. RHOADS, b. 18 Jul 1863, Brothersvalley, Somerset Co, PA, Caroline R. "Carrie" HAUGER (Hager), b. 17 Aug 1864, Brothersvalley, Somerset Co, PA Harry W. had sister's: Mary, Susan, Sadie and Beatrice, brother's: Kimmel and Norman. Harry W. RHOADS married Katherine R. WYAND, (Wayland, Weiand, Weiland, Weyand, Weyandt, Weyant, Weyland, Wiland, Wyant, Wyland, Wyon). Katherine's father was Harry A., b. 10 Nov 1886, Somerset Co, PA, mother named Anna, b. c. 1888 PA. Harry A. WYAND's parents were Adam WYAND, b. Apr 1842, and Katherine. Adam and Katherine WYAND's daughter's were Anna and Margaret, other son's were John, Jacob, Edward, and William Prior to 1870 the WYAND family lived in Juniata Twp, Bedford Co, PA, thereafter they moved to Somerset Co, PA. Katherine R. WYAND and Harry W. RHOADS were married c. 1928. Following their marriage, Katherine R., her husband Harry W. along with Katherine's sister Grace E. moved to Accident, Garrett Co, MD. Years later they moved back to Brothersvalley, Somerset Co, PA, where they remained for the rest of their lives.
