what was then Frederick > Co. is now Garrett, and that present Frederick Co. can lay no claim to > Browning? I think this may be incorrect. The first few pages of Meschach's book, explain how his parents had moved to Frederick County and after his father died there, his mother had quite a struggle to bring her family back over all the mountains to what is now Allegany County. I don't have the book so cannot double check that but hope someone else out there can check it out. Connie
